Three of us were in Glasgow and we had dinner here. We all enjoy Indian food but non of us had experienced Nepalese food, so the partnership between the two here drew us in. The place was very busy but the kindly host found us a spot. So very glad she did too because the food was amazing. The staff is hard working, professional and kind. We all loved this place.

Nice place with a good atmosphere. The food and staff are really lovely. I had the thukpa with chicken, which is the ultimate comfort food. Hubby had chicken achari which he loved.

Update: Just visited the new Blantyre location, and got told by staff that they don't do take-away orders anymore, poor show in this economy... Old EK review: Lovely place where you will be made to feel welcome (the most vegan friendly place in East Kilbride too). Made a great name for itself and rightly so; food is at an excellent standard. Interior is lovely; warmly lit, lovely lamps and beautiful mural. Staff are great. I would dare-say that this is my favourite non-vegan restaurant (heck; my favourite restaurant over all)

What a wonderful addition to Blantyre! After successful opening few days ago we managed to get a table for dinner. Everything was immaculate! Service was amazing, all staff took good care of us. The food... Absolutely incredible! Both curries we chose were so full of flavour and delicious, and lamb was very soft. Great selection of drinks and draught beers. This is probably our new local now. Absolutely recommend!!!

Had a great meal at the Wee Gurka after its relocation. The building is looking fantastic. Love the new setting and the meals are as good as ever! I wish you all the success in your new place.

Third time here ... first time sit-in then 2 takeaways. Food is absolutely delicious. My partner picked up our order. Had a great chat with the owner, said he was lovely. Can honestly say all 3 times have been fantastic but got to say last night's was one of the best curries I've ever had. Service and prices were spot on, definitely great value. Keep up the good work guys. Wil be back soon

Another restaurant I've had on my list to visit for a while now due to the many positive things I've heard about it. From walking through the door, the smell of the food is delightful. Staff are attentive. Restaurant is tastefully decorated and has a spacious feel to it. Food is delicious with plenty of vegetarian options available. Spring rolls are very good, but the Dahl with mixed pickles was on a different level. Naan cooked to perfection. Pints of lager served cold as they should be.

First time to the wee ghurka and won’t be our last food was to die for so tasty. Service was fantastic staff work really hard and very attentive. Lovely atmosphere will definitely be making it a monthly trip.
